IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosemarie
Fontana
May 27, 1931 – February 11, 2026
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11th, leaving behind a legacy of grace, and endless love.
She was the definition of strength and independence - a steady presence in the lives of all who knew her. Through every season of life, she carried herself with quiet dignity. She faced challenges with courage, celebrated joys with humility, and embodied grace in all she did.
Endlessly kind and generous with her love, she had a gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her warmth was constant and her heart always open. She gave freely of herself, never asking for recognition, simply living each day as an example of compassion and devotion.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved them with a fierce and devoted heart that knew no bounds. In their laughter, she found her greatest happiness. In their milestones, she found pride beyond measure. She nurtured them with tenderness and strength, leaving each of them forever shaped by her unwavering support and unconditional love.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are comforted by the countless memories she leaves behind—moments of laughter, lessons in resilience, and the quiet reassurance of her steady presence. Her life was a testament to grace, generosity, and enduring love.
She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Helen (née Lipster) Fontana and her son David Dvorak Jr.. She is survived by her sons Doug Dvorak (Susan) and Jon Dvorak (Joan); brother Robert Fontana (Linda); Grandchildren Lindsay Stein (née Dvorak), Maria Schmalzreid (née Dvorak) (Corey), Michael Dvorak, Emily Dvorak, Aaron Dvorak, and Alex Dvorak; Great Grandchildren Carlee and Madison Stein, and, Riley and Mia Schmalzried; extended family Nancy and Richard Allman.
